Esther 2:2 Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, Let there be fair young virgins sought for the king:
As we press further in looking for criteria that is been needed in the palace, we look at the next standard you must fit in to be qualified for the palace. We have recently looked into what it means to be FAIR and YOUNG. Now we will be looking at the third criteria
👉 VIRGINS
Let me use this verse of the scripture to explain this:
Matthew 19:12 For there are men who, from birth, were without sex: and there are some who were made so by men: and there are others who have made themselves so for the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to take it, let him take it.
The three types of virgin that exist and I trust God to help us examine ourselves are:
i. There are people that are virgin not because they really wish to be, but they were born without such opportunities. These are the categories of people who from birth they are impotent, physically challenged (blind, without spinal cord, etc...) There are some in this set that naturally they don't have feelings even towards the opposite sex. They are born like that, but they can be otherwise if not for what nature has shaped them to be.
ii. Others were made that by men: there are people that are virgins by the virtue of family they came from, you dere not move anyhow. From home to school, back to the house that is the circle. There are people that their parent are seriously monitoring, some are still virgin because they are with their parents, some are virgin because they feared STDs, some kept themselves because of the fear of pregnancy, some are kept because they don't want to be disgraced. Such people are usually virgins but in the real sense, they are not. Ask Dinah in the scripture, she will tell you she was a virgin because her brothers will not dare let her walk without been monitored, but the day she saw the opportunity, that was all. Many were virgins when they were with their parents or guardian, but immediately they came on campus, that is the end of their virginity. They got the freedom they have always wanted. Been a virgin not because you were made so.
iii. The third category of been a virgin are those who made themselves virgin because of the Kingdom of Heaven: these are the once that kept themselves not because of any physical reason, not because of their parents or guardian nor for the fear of pregnancy or STDs, the kept themselves not because someone is monitoring them but because of the kingdom of Heaven. You can ask Joseph, he will tell you he had the privilege of not been a virgin because he is a slave, couple with the fact that his parent are not visible, no one is so monitoring him. He has such liberty to do such, but his response is what baffles me
Genesis 39:9 He treats me as an equal. The only thing he hasn't turned over to me is you. You're his wife, after all! How could I violate his trust and sin against God?".
You would see that its not for any reason less than the Kingdom reasons. These are the type of virgins the king looks for. People that we can entrust life into their hands and they will remain intact! People who are virgins by heart.....
Answer this: Are you a virgin really? What kept you as a virgin?
How many times have you broken the trust of God over your life? have a check.
Plead with God today to show you his mercy...... Without meeting these criteria discussed in this series, you are not fit for the palace, the kingdom of God, you are not fit for it!
HE WHO IS ABLE TO TAKE IT, LET HIM TAKE IT
2 Timothy 2:19 But the firm foundation of (laid by) God stands, sure and unshaken, bearing this seal (inscription): The Lord knows those who are His, and, Let everyone who names [himself by] the name of the Lord give up all iniquity and stand aloof from it.

I boiled a egg sometimes ago, I heated the pot with enough fire, and the water was really boiling.  "In this hot sun, how soon will i get a Keke to take me back to the office? After the stress I am facing here, I still have a lot to catch up with in the office and it's the weekend already, I will have to face the stress on the road again, Kai, this life ehn... I can testify to it that this world is spiritual and there are lot of battles going on, the one we can see or the invincible ones. There are battles from friends and foes, in the morning, afternoon, evening and night, in the dream, real life experiences. At work, at home, amongst family members, from within the environment and attacks of all sought. Yes, this world is really wicked!
