The Clouded Future!


Oh! The future doesn't look sharp or visible at all...
 It seems everywhere is clouded and you doubt if there is hope at all
 With everything put in place, the struggle and effort, the future seems not bright
 Listen to my story, and I trust the Spirit of our Father to grant you understanding

 I was returning from one missionary journey one fateful morning
 It was very early around 5:30am
 I was on a bike from that village, we still have about 30minutes drive to get to the nearest tared road
 The dew was so heavy that we can hardly see what was ahead of us
 Even the headlamp as bright as it were wasn't seeing anything
 But the bike man kept moving

 Some minutes drive to the main road  was  when I heard...
 Why are you bordered with the future?
 Why are you so concerned about what tomorrow holds for you?
 What is your concern about how you will get to that place I promised you?
 What is your issue with the heavy dew and dark cloud on your way?
 Are you the one on the driver's seat?
 In as much I Am still the one driving your life, you have no problem with the heavy dew nor the dark cloud

 You just sit comfortably and watch, what and how I will do my things

 Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus went to work on his disciples. "Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You're not in the driver's seat; I am. Don't run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I'll show you how.

 Matthew 16:25 Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self.

 Matthew 16:27 "Don't be in such a hurry to go into business for yourself. Before you know it the Son of Man will arrive with all the splendor of his Father, accompanied by an army of angels. You'll get everything you have coming to you, a personal gift.

 Matthew 6:25 Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing?

 Friends, the clouded future should not be your concern
 Why can't you allow him who made time and season handle it all

 I invite you, Come to Jesus and release all to him to handle
 For me, I might not know what the future holds, but I know He who holds my future

 This is my heart cry....

 I have prepared my heart for You;
O Lord come take Your Throne,
Nothing must come within my soul,
Nothing must break into my thoughts,
No one must rise to take Your place,
O Lord, come take Your Throne.

 I have reserved my lifetime for You;
O Lord come take control,
My life must serve Your purpose Lord,
Living for You and dying to self,
My all I give Your will to serve,
O Lord come take control.

 I have released my whole being to You;
O Lord come take Your own
My heart, my soul and body, Lord!
Once and for all and not bit by bit;
I lay them all on the alter for You;
O Lord come take Your own.

 I have referred my life's end to You,
Dear Lord, then take me home,
To see thy face is all I ask
My Labour here must not be in vain.
My hope, my joy is to reign with You
O may i make it home.
Amen.

COOKED, BUT NOT DONE!

I boiled a egg sometimes ago, I heated the pot with enough fire, and the water was really boiling. It boiled for some minutes, I went to check and I saw a mark on the egg like it cracked, the white part is showing already.  "In this hot sun, how soon will i get a Keke to take me back to the office? After the stress I am facing here, I still have a lot to catch up with in the office and it's the weekend already, I will have to face the stress on the road again, Kai, this life ehn... " The above words were part of the many things running through my thought, as I was sent on an assignment from my work. Those questions flooded my thoughts at the end of the assignment I was sent to do.  Do you know naturally I shouldn't be bordered with those questions in my thoughts in the first place, the reason being that I was sent on the errand with an office vehicle.   PRAYERS INITIATED BY FEAR It is not a new thing to an average human that prayer is a means of fighting spiritual warfare, all religion testify to this. I can testify to it that this world is spiritual and there are lot of battles going on, the one we can see or the invincible ones. There are battles from friends and foes, in the morning, afternoon, evening and night, in the dream, real life experiences. At work, at home, amongst family members, from within the environment and attacks of all sought. Yes, this world is really wicked! I am sure you must have heard if not seen the operations of the wicked ones. However we were enjoyed to intensify our prayers so we can become victorious. It is the survival of the fittest.
