PARABLE

And he yet told them another parable saying...
Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:6 NLT
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
See this 👉🏻
I was to go on a trip with a senior brother.
He want to show me where to get some materials at cheaper price, and I am to help him do some repair over there
Our plan was to go on a Saturday morning, when the day came, I had only 240 naira note with me.
I was to meet him at a certain location quite far from where I stay
On getting to the location where I was to meet him, I had spent 200naira for transport, I am having 40 naira left with me
My thinking was to let him know my financial status before we begin the journey to avoid embarrassment
I didn't even border to tell him again when I remembered I had a thousand naira note in my pocket I was given for a job I haven't done which I am to deliver the following day.
In the course of the journey, the conductor asked for our fare
The brother gave me a 500 note for the two of us. I gave the conductor
When we moved about a reasonable distance I felt at home a bit, I was now thirsty, I confidently picked a 20naira note in my pocket to get a sachet water since I can't afford a bottled water
I asked the brother who we were going together to help me get the water since he was sitting next to the window
He told me not to worry, called the woman and bought me BIGI COLA, a very chilled one 😉
After alighting from that bus, all the bus we boarded, he kept paying for it, and all I do was to sit and look.
Now, When we were coming back, the conductor of the bus we boarded was a very harsh person and was always complaining at any slight issue
He turned to me and angrily ask "owo ti e da" (where is your money).
All I have to do is to confidently point to the brother sitting next to me, he paid and we continued the journey.
I was still in the bus when I heard
Philippians 4:6 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Why will I have to worry? Why will I have have to put any matter on my head as if its mine?
Many times i use to forget that as a child of God, I am not walking alone
I use to get myself into a lot of thinking and worry that will result in a sickness or the other
I often forget this
1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
He is always thinking about me, my worries are now what he is thinking about always
Jeremiah 29:11 MSG
I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out--plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.
Since I obey the call to come, he doesn't want me to do any thinking again. All he expect of me is just to
Philippians 4:6 CEV
Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God.
Oh God, I have shortchanged my self by too much thinking, I have now over think and I have even think on your behalf
I am always having this fear that you have forgotten me, and you don't have me in mind
I am afraid of what the future holds and I am always accepting the alternative that is been presented to me, which is much more lesser than what you have for me
My father will you please remind me always that
Matthew 6:32 CEV
Only people who don't know God are always worrying about such things. Your Father in heaven knows that you need all of these.
Help me Lord to totally put my confidence in you even when it look foolish, even when there are threats all around me.
Help my faith in you Lord to stand always... Help me to totally trust you at all times.....🙇🙇 Matthew 13:34-35 Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: "I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world."
