I DON'T WANT BISCUITS.
That was the cry of a little girl carried in the arm of her father.
I was so inquisitive to know the story behind her cry and it brought me
to the point of prayer and resolution also, I hope it will do just that
for you as well. This little girl was enjoying the warmth from her
father's chest. You can imagine the affectionateness this little girl is
getting from her dad, I don't know if you have also experienced it
before? You feel relaxed, certain, loved, important.... The list continues😘
This poor girl was really enjoying all these when someone showed up to spoil the mood
"Baby, take (that was a flashy color biscuit), let me carry you"
These word and biscuit in her hand really stricken my heart, this poor girl is in a state of confusion just as we often find ourselves, this biscuit in her hand we want, our father's warmth we don't want to leave. Making this decision has been the big task we always engage in.
When I am faced with situations that calls my attentions away from my father's loving arm, and my father's loving arm is there silently waiting for what my decision will be.
Do you know many times we jump down from my father's warmth only to discover those seen benefits are just to entice us.
I don't know how far the enemy of your soul has gone to capture your attention with "biscuits" at the detriments of your Father's warmth?
Oh! You have also jumped down from his loving arm only for you to discover
_Ecclesiastes 1:14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity, a striving after the wind and a feeding on wind._
You have been duped of your Father's love, and hereby sentenced to hard labour, permit me to inform you that you can enjoy your Father's warmth again...
Luke 15:16-20 He was so hungry he would have eaten the corncobs in the pig slop, but no one would give him any.
That brought him to his senses. He said, 'All those farmhands working for my father sit down to three meals a day, and here I am starving to death.
I'm going back to my father. I'll say to him, Father, I've sinned against God, I've sinned before you; I don't deserve to be called your son. Take me on as a hired hand.' He got right up and went home to his father. "When he was still a long way off, his father saw him. His heart pounding, he ran out, embraced him, and kissed him.
Your father is always longing, always waiting and watching to see you come back from the toil you have been deceived into,
will you come to your senses and return back to your Father's warmth? Don't be deceived that He won't accept you, He will receive you. Come to him now!
As you are coming, always remember that the deceiver will always come with his "biscuit"
Let your resolution always be
I DON'T WANT BISCUITS.
