FROM THE GAS STATION


I went to refill my gas cylinder recently, the sight of what I saw baffles me and left me with many questions unanswered. This was what I saw: there was this cylinder that was brought to be refilled just like mine, but before the guy inserted the nuzzle of the gas, he had to 'waste' or release the remaining gas inside that cylinder. He did this for some seconds before he proceed in refilling it. After sometimes, the gas wasn't rushing in again as we could see it from the transparent pipe. He removed the nuzzle again, release some gas after a hard press then insert the nuzzle again. This continue till the paid volume is reached.
What does this mean and how does it affect me:
God doesn't fill a vessel that is filled already, he need to empty your cylinder if he will fill you with himself. Don't forget God is Spirit that needs a container to carry him. The devil is also a spiritual being, he also needs a vessel he will possess to fulfill his evil. Naturally we all came into this world with our containers filled with evil spirit in us(sin), our container was never empty. The devil filled it up with himself and its sinful nature. (Psalm 51:5, Eph. 4:22).
When you claim to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, what God does is to purge you of every sinful life and habits that is left in you, God make sure he remove everything that belong to the devil before filling you up with himself. He sometimes uses wilderness experience to drain you of everything left in you,
Deuteronomy 8:2-5 Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD. Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years. Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you.
However, this process of removal is done in Discipleship. For you to be fully conformed to his full nature he has to remove every excess left in you. If you will not allow him remove those things that are not his, don't expect him to fill you. If you will not be worse that first, allow him to remove everything left and let him fill you with his Spirit.
Will you surrender yourself to be purged, pruned and drain of every thing that is of the devil.

Forgotten Identity

 "In this hot sun, how soon will i get a Keke to take me back to the office? After the stress I am facing here, I still have a lot to catch up with in the office and it's the weekend already, I will have to face the stress on the road again, Kai, this life ehn...
