THE YOUTHFUL AGE


It is a great pleasure to be a youth at this time on earth. At this dispensation that we are at liberty to do whatever seems right in our sight. This era in which we have technology advancing day in day out for our use; the period that life is becoming interesting daily, advancing with social networking and many other devices that make living easier. We don’t even need to carry big bible around again technology has helped us; we don’t even need to search the bible again Google is always there to help. The time when education is now a right not a privilege where we don’t even need to read before we pass an examination. The season where fashion is now the talk of town, where you can dress anyhow to anywhere at any time. It’s great to be a youth at this time where friends can either make or mar you; where we are at liberty to choose whom to marry, what to do with our life, what religious persuasion to follow all which are none of our parents business. Youths now flow in the direction of the entertainment industry. It’s great to be a youth now that there is power to do exploit, now that you are strong and vigorous and the word of God can always abide in your heart. Now that we cherish the world and the things in it more than God, now that we have decided to neglect the love of the Father, now that the craving for sensual gratification is high. Lust of the eyes and pride of life is the hallmark, now that we passionately desire the things that pass away when “the kingdom of God does not suffer violence” in our sight.
            On a serious note, the youth of this end time have more privileges. But the youths of this time happen to fall in the era of danger- a season that seems tender but tough. It’s the present young ones that are opportune to see the perilous time, the rapture i.e. the second coming of Jesus Christ Congratulation if you are a youth- as the youth of the past only read and heard about it.

Youth!!! Beware least you fall a victim of this end time. All these are the strategy of the devil to shift our attention and for him to ridicule us as youth. Don’t forget the admonition of Paul the Apostle “let no man despise thy youth” the devil has succeeded in concentrating our attention to the fun part of life and as make it an impossible task to live a clean life. He has made many of us even so called Christian to be carried away and belittle our power. The few of us that are still in the grace only struggle to live a Christian life; we found our selves with God today and very far the next. We as youths only see “NOW” and what is around us, we have no foresight of the “HEREAFTER”. We have lost our power and concentration even to the pit of “Belong”; we have forgotten the warning of the Master that we are in the world but not of the world. We Christian youths that ought to teach others with our life style, our word, with demeanor, love, faith, integrity, we are suppose to stay at our duty posts reading the scriptures with meaning: to give counsels, to teach others what we ought to know. But what a pity, we have cultivate the habit of the world, our characters and teachings are now of the world, there is now no difference between the Christian youth and the people of the world. No more fear of God among the Christian youths. Divers news of horrible things are been heard even in the church of God. We the royal priesthoods, now  royal slaves to the devil. The glorious future God had in mind for us are no more preserved; we are becoming casualties even in our lives time. The devil now makes us an exhibit for ridicule. We have disappointed God. We the youths that God rely on to become a pivot for revival for the coming generations, now hardly have time for God. We are become profane people, living on immediacy and our future cry for revenge.
However Friends, we are now suffering from what we ought to enjoy, we are now crying on what should make us laugh. We are now been killed by this technology, we now fall victims of ritualist. We now graduate in thousands yearly without work to do just because we allow corruption, and armed robbery increases daily because we have lost our power of evangelism, our generation now turn to the generation after Joshua, the bible says they “knew not the Lord”. I can see the Lord stretching forth his hands to receive us back, I can see Him ready to help us; I can see Him ready to restore to us our stolen power. I can see Him willing to pour on us the grace to shake our generation. God is now at our reach if only you can come to Him, if only we recognize ourselves as prodigal sons & daughter, if we can

Yield the call God made in 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people {YOUTH} who are called by name, shall
humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land”. If only we can go before Him with a repentant heart, He is ready to restore power back to the youths. Since the Lord is set to revenge for our nation. It is now left to us to cry to God. It is time to speak to God.

COOKED, BUT NOT DONE!

I boiled a egg sometimes ago, I heated the pot with enough fire, and the water was really boiling. It boiled for some minutes, I went to check and I saw a mark on the egg like it cracked, the white part is showing already.  "In this hot sun, how soon will i get a Keke to take me back to the office? After the stress I am facing here, I still have a lot to catch up with in the office and it's the weekend already, I will have to face the stress on the road again, Kai, this life ehn... " The above words were part of the many things running through my thought, as I was sent on an assignment from my work. Those questions flooded my thoughts at the end of the assignment I was sent to do.  Do you know naturally I shouldn't be bordered with those questions in my thoughts in the first place, the reason being that I was sent on the errand with an office vehicle. I can testify to it that this world is spiritual and there are lot of battles going on, the one we can see or the invincible ones. At work, at home, amongst family members, from within the environment and attacks of all sought. Yes, this world is really wicked!
