THE TIED COLT



As Jesus approaches his final place of death, the place of “glory”. As prophesies are going to be fulfill, Jesus sent two of His disciples. Why two and why disciples and not three or four, why not ordinary crowd? Don’t forget that the bible said “many are called…” many people are called to be a disciple, there are a lot of people that Jesus called to be with him and that he might send them out. Out of the many that are called, only few are chosen, its just two of them that Jesus send to go ahead. It’s a thing to be “called” (disciples), it is another to be chosen i.e sent on an assignment. He send only two to fulfill the prophesy. Are you part of the two?
That you called is not enough, to be chosen is not as important as to be very patient to listen to instruction. Many of the chosen today have gone without listening to crucial instructions. Instructions is as important as going. Knowing the place you are been sent really matter. Those two people are sent to “that village over there”; remote place, uninteresting place, the location is over there… not far at all. Fine, you know where you are going, what are you going to do there is another important thing. There is a colt that Jesus is sending you to. A colt not a donkey; that colt is tied down with different things via, fashion, entertainment, love of the world, internet……. They are not to be tied down; they ought to be ridden by Jesus to fulfill his mandate. It’s now time for God to ride on them to fulfill the prophecies. Youth that are tied down with these things are instrument that will bring down revival.
Many of the “colt” Jesus wanted to ride upon are still on hold of the pleasure of the world and God can’t ride on them there. Look at the colt that ought to bring revival but alas! They are still tied down, and you as an instrument chosen by God to be among the two that will untie and  bring the colt to God. This colt has never been ridden. They are yet to be used by God. This people may be in the church and may even be born by a minster, deaconess or a worker in the church but has never come to know Christ personally.
Look attentively at this, after you have untie the colt after God has given you this life when God has release this life unto you, you are to bring him here, you are to point him to Christ. You are not to ride on the colt, you are not to take the glory. Listen to this there will be challenges, there are things that will demand your zeal. There will be opposition demanding why you are doing this: the reply is “our master needs of him”. The Lord need than, the almighty want their services, the Lord need them, the almighty want their services, the Lord want them to fulfill the reason they were created. They will be release.  
It now become evident that it is the vessel that Jesus want to send that are causing the delay, it’s the people that God wanted to use to loose many people in bondages that are not yet ready that make God look powerless. The colt are ready to be untied, people are ready to release them but the vessel that God will send to bring them are missing. Not until you are a disciple Jesus can’t send you out. Many of the sent do not readily patiently wait to listen for further instruction from God. Many of the sent has gone to the people around to seek permission  first by loosing but alas they were been given reason to loose a donkey instead of a colt and it was a colt Jesus send you.
Now, consider yourself. Are you a disciple of Jesus or you are among the crowd following Jesus? As he has chosen you out of the many disciples? Did you patiently wait for in-depth instruction before you set out on the mission God send you? Have you answer the call of God for your life, are you following the instruction to the letter? Don’t forget many lives lies in danger.

Forgotten Identity

 "In this hot sun, how soon will i get a Keke to take me back to the office? After the stress I am facing here, I still have a lot to catch up with in the office and it's the weekend already, I will have to face the stress on the road again, Kai, this life ehn... I can testify to it that this world is spiritual and there are lot of battles going on, the one we can see or the invincible ones.
